General Liability
We represent commercial general liability insurers in cases involving bodily injury and property damage issues as well as personal and advertising injury. We have experience in product liability, product recall, consumer class and mass actions, environmental liability, construction defect, and liquor liability claims. We are knowledgeable in the complex coverage issues that arise out of these claims, including right to independent counsel, reimbursement/recoupment of defense costs, allocation and contribution among insureds and insurers, additional insured coverage, and scope of indemnified claims.

Represent CGL carriers in products liability litigation arising out opioid exposures, asbestos, and consumer products.
Represent liability insurer in resolving environmental claims under pollution liability policy.
Represent insurers under general liability and life sciences policies in connection with mass torts including mass shootings and drug recalls; address issues on trigger of policies and excess coverage; and negotiate large-scale and class action settlements.
Represent insurers providing liquor liability coverage to insureds for special events, such as concerts, street festivals, parades and holiday parties, as well as to bars and restaurants; address issues regarding insured status of the parties accused of wrongdoing, insured’s breach of warranties, and other insurance and allocation of responsibilities among parties and insurers.
Regularly represent insurers providing coverage to commercial property management companies in connection with claims alleging bodily injury by tenants and invitees, including alleged faulty design, inspection, or maintenance of the property or facility, or on account of the purported failure to secure the premises.
Represent insurers in connection with wrap and OCIP policies concerning construction-related claims across the country.
