Jason represents and advises insurers on issues arising under cyber policies. He also assists insurers with developing, drafting, and revising cyber policies that provide first-party and third-party coverage. Jason represents insurers in coverage and bad faith actions in federal and state courts across the country.

Jason specializes in first-party cyber exposures and regularly provides strategic advice to insurers regarding coverage for losses resulting from social engineering and ransomware attacks and complex business interruption and data recovery claims. Jason possesses expertise on losses stemming from such attacks against businesses of all sizes and industries and under every conceivable circumstance. He also represents insurers in connection with the investigation and analysis of complex first-party losses under traditional commercial crime policies and fidelity bonds.

Jason also regularly counsels insurers on third-party claims arising from cyber and privacy-related events, including resulting class actions. Jason also advises insurers on claims in other professional lines, including private and public company directors and officers, technology, media, and employment practices liability policies.

Jason, his wife Tara, and their three children live in Alexandria, Virginia.
